DHA Phase 3: understanding the available map sheets
DHA describes Phase 3 as a residential and commercial development in the Potohar region of Pakistan. When researching DHA Phase 3 Islamabad–Rawalpindi, identifying the exact drawing is important: maps with neighbouring locations or historical project names should not automatically be treated as one master plan.
This collection contains an army-allocation sheet labelled DHA Phase 3 and a separate Serene City/Bahria layout dated 13 August 2014. Their titles and coverage must remain clearly distinguished. The Serene City drawing is not presented here as an official DHA Phase 3 master plan.

- Development milestone: DHA states that development began in December 2016.
- This is a development-start date, not confirmation of the original launch or first residential occupancy.
- DHA’s undated overview mentions approximately 3,500 kanals developed. This is not the phase’s total area and should not be treated as a current progress measurement.
- A verified original-versus-current total area comparison is not available from the sources reviewed.

Serene City / Zone 5 master layout
The drawing is a curved hillside layout with residential pods, green belts and blue water or nullah features. Zone labels on the sheet include Zone-V, Zone-VI (old Zone-V), Zone-VII (old Zone-II), Zone-VIII, Zone-IX (old Zone-I) and Zone-X. A key plan and land-use tables sit on the right; individual table figures are not transcribed here because several cells are not reliably readable.
- Neighbour labels: Garden City Zone V, DHA-II, Takht Pari Forest, Safari Homes, Bahria Hamlets, Sector P Phase VIII, connected to Phase VII.
- Orange and red parcels mark non-residential or special uses as coloured on this layout.
DHA Phase 3 army allocation sectors
Red outline marks the army allocation sectors. Large letters identify A (north-west, beside Zone-V), C (west, beside Zone-X), D, E, F (central, around a lake or park), G, H (east, with an orange outer band) and J (south). An F-labelled area outside the red line sits to the south-west and should not be confused with the inner Sector F.
- Green patches and a central water/park feature are drawn inside the allocation.
- Red and yellow blocks mark commercial or special parcels as coloured on this sheet.
- Sector B is not printed as a letter on this drawing; ARK’s Zameen ACE Homes page still lists Sector B, DHA Phase 3 as a project location — that is a listing label, not a letter read on this map.

Are both Phase 3 sheets the same master plan?
